Our Team of Advisors

Rick Angell opened the Angell Insurance Agency in 1986 and has been servicing clients with health and life insurance for the past 30 years.  Rick and his wife Janet have been married over 50 years and have lived in Cherokee for most of their married life.  They raised three children — Matt, Julie, and Becky.  Rick continues to be an invaluable asset to the region with his vast knowledge of health insurance. 

Becky (Angell) Bloom and her husband, Aaron, live in Aurelia with their 4 children. She joined Angell Insurance in 2008, and became a licensed agent in 2016. Becky has loved working with her dad for the past 8 years and learning from his vast experience in all areas of the health insurance industry.

Kellen Ludvigson currently resides just outside Cherokee, with his wife Kayla and three children, Wyatt, Effie, and Blake.  For 14 years, Kellen was a pharmacist specializing in retail pharmacy as well as drug utilization review and pharmacy and therapeutics committees.  Kellen brings his vast knowledge of medications as well as the healthcare industry in general to assist in the life and health insurance needs of Northwest Iowa.
